Terms of Service
Last updated: 14 August 2026
Welcome to IQ MAXX. By creating an account or using our website (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by Vladislav Ježek, IČO 29889952, with a registered address at Stolín 111, 549 41 Červený Kostelec, Czech Republic. You can reach us at iq.maxx.info@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use any part of the Service that requires registration. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when registering, including your date of birth.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false age information, or attempt to abuse or manipulate the Service (e.g. attempting to access answers through unauthorized means).
4. What IQ MAXX is — and isn't
IQ MAXX is a platform for tracking and training cognitive performance over time, including pattern-recognition exercises, logic puzzles, and timed numerical exercises.
- Scores and ranks shown on IQ MAXX reflect your performance within the IQ MAXX platform only. A rank is earned by reaching a fixed score on a test, not by being ahead of anyone else.
- IQ MAXX does not claim to measure your intelligence, IQ, or cognitive ability in any scientifically validated or clinical sense.
- IQ MAXX is not a substitute for a certified psychological or neuropsychological assessment. If you have concerns about your cognitive health, please consult a licensed professional.
5. Free and paid features
- Some content is available free of charge, without registration or with a free account.
- Additional content and features require a paid subscription (Monthly or Annual, as described on our pricing page).
- We may change what is included in the free tier from time to time.
6. Subscriptions and payments
- Paid subscriptions are billed in advance, either monthly or annually, via our payment processor, Stripe. The price shown at checkout is the total you pay: we are not registered for VAT, so nothing is added to it.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- Deleting your account is different: it cancels your subscription immediately rather than at the end of the period. You will not be billed again, and the remainder of a period you have already paid for is not refunded. The Service says so before you confirm the deletion.
- Prices may change with reasonable advance notice. Changes will not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
7. Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer, you may withdraw from your subscription within 14 days of purchase, without giving any reason and without penalty.
To withdraw, simply tell us at iq.maxx.info@gmail.combefore the 14 days are up. Any clear statement is enough — an e-mail saying you are withdrawing does the job. We will refund your payment in full, using the same method you paid with, within 14 days of being informed.
This right applies to each new subscription you take out, including a subscription started again after a previous one ended. It does not apply to an automatic renewal of a subscription you already have.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account with others or let someone else use your login
- Attempt to bypass, probe, or reverse-engineer scoring logic, age verification, or paid-content restrictions
- Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service
- Copy, redistribute, or publish IQ MAXX's puzzles, questions, or content elsewhere
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
9. Intellectual property
All content on IQ MAXX — including puzzles, questions, design, and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our permission.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores/results will be accurate in any absolute sense.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. for fraud or gross negligence), and nothing in them affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g. by email or a notice on the Service) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, where applicable.
13. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something is wrong, please write to us first at iq.maxx.info@gmail.com— most things are quickest to fix directly.
If we cannot resolve it between us and you are a consumer, you may turn to the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), which handles out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes: Ústřední inspektorát – oddělení ADR, Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Praha 2, adr.coi.cz. Using this route is free of charge and voluntary.
14. Contact
