This Privacy Policy explains how IQ MAXX ("we", "us", "the Service") collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you use our website and services.

1. Who we are

IQ MAXX is operated by Vladislav Ježek, IČO 29889952, Stolín 111, 549 41 Červený Kostelec, Czech Republic, who is the controller of your personal data. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at iq.maxx.info@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: email address, password (stored securely, hashed — we never see or store your plain-text password), date of birth (collected only to verify you meet our minimum age requirement of 16; not used for any other purpose)
• Usage data: your test attempts, scores, answers, time spent per question, and progress through ranks and sections of the Service
• Payment data:handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach IQ MAXX. We store only the identifiers Stripe gives us for your customer and subscription, the plan you are on, its status, and its renewal date — enough to know what you have access to.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and similar technical information collected automatically for security and to keep the Service running (e.g. via Supabase, our database and authentication provider)

We do not collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn that someone under 16 has registered an account, we will delete that account and its data.

3. Why we collect it (legal basis)

• To create and manage your account, and to let you use the Service (performance of a contract)
• To calculate and show you your results, progress, and rank on the Service (performance of a contract)
• To process payments for paid subscriptions (performance of a contract)
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interest)
• To comply with legal obligations, including age-verification requirements (legal obligation)

4. How we use your data

We use your data only to operate, maintain, and improve IQ MAXX — for example, to save your test results, calculate your progress, and let you track your performance over time. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Who we share data with

• Supabase (database and authentication hosting)
• Vercel (website hosting)
• Stripe (payment processing)

These providers process data on our behalf under their own data processing agreements and security standards. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers (e.g. Supabase, Vercel, Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your account and test data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted immediately— your sign-in, every test attempt and answer, your rank progress, your Speed Maths scores and your subscription record all go in a single operation. There is no waiting period and no archived copy on our side, which is also why we cannot restore an account once it is gone.

Two things outlive the deletion, and neither is within our gift. Payment and invoice records are kept by Stripe, and by us where tax and accounting law requires it. Routine server logs held by our hosting providers expire on their own schedule.

8. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
• Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Czechia: the Office for Personal Data Protection, ÚOOÚ)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at iq.maxx.info@gmail.com. You can also delete your account and all of its data yourself, at any time, from your account settings.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are strictly necessaryfor the Service to function — keeping you signed in, and nothing else. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking, which is why the Service asks you for no cookie consent: none is required for cookies without which the site could not work. If that ever changes, we will ask first.

10. Children's privacy

IQ MAXX is not directed at, and may not be used by, anyone under 16 years old. We use an age-verification step at registration to enforce this.

11. About your test results and scores

Scores and ranks shown on IQ MAXX reflect your performance within the IQ MAXX platform only. They are not a certified psychological or clinical assessment and are not a substitute for professional testing.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g. by email or a notice on the Service) before the changes take effect.
